What I love most about my role: As this is the first Family Pastor that Mission City has had, I look forward to seeing this role develops. I am excited to work side by side with the people of MCC and watching the Holy Spirit grow within each of us.

Favorite Verse Ephesians. Ephesians 6:10-20. Being a veteran and retiree of the fire department, I relate to the battle that we face everyday in this world. And these verses give us a clear picture of where and who our protection comes from and how we are always to be ready.

Kids? I am married to my wonderful wife Shannon for 23 years. We have three boys Jacob, Andrew and Cooper. Jacob is a police officer cadet in Roanoke, VA. Andrew is in college at CPCC slated to finish this spring and Cooper is a freshman at Southlake Christian Academy.

Pets? We have a mini Australian Shephard and three cats. We also live on a farm with chickens, a sheep named Joseph, a goat named Mooch and a mini donkey named Jonah.

Favorite movie? Indiana Jones

Favorite snack?  Reeces Pieces

Last book read?  am an avid reader and at any one time I am reading several books. Currently my read list is The case for Christ by Lee Strobel, Greatful American by Gary Sinise, The Terminal List series by Jack Carr and of course my Bible.

Weirdest thing people don’t know about me: The weirdest thing people don’t know about me is that I am actually left handed but because of an accident I had to learn to write right-handed and still do this day!
